Towns in the Sea and Sky

I'm gonna make a proper page for this but for now, allow me to quote a tumblr post:

I’ve got this idea in my head for a comic (don’t worry, I’m not dropping Amy Case before I’ve started) a sort of steampunk/dieselpunk/retro-futuristic science fictiony funtimes thing with airships and flying towns and towns built on oil-rig like platforms at sea and weird motorbikes and stuff. I’ve got this whole idea of a setting in my head but no story. I want use collage in a bit and drawings and a old-fashionedy muted colour scheme and stuff. And on the one hand I’d really like to do it in a book, but on the other hand I’ve got ideas about variation of pages that might work better online, but actually I think I might do them as fold-outs in a book, yeah I’d rather do it as a book, but that means few will read it because ha ha ha as if I’d get published. ANd it would probably involve J. Reppertum;and perhaps my “Victorian Superhero” Brass Goggles, though he wouldn’t be victorian because I don’t think it would be victorian times because my ideas involve influences from the nineteenth century right up to the sixties. Yeah. That’s a bit of a ramble.

This is a long term back burner type of project, there won't be anything to show for it for a long time, if ever, but you can follow the Towns in the Sea and Sky Tumblr where I reblog inspiration pictures and I might post some drawings too.
